On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the committees of the ÖJHV Carinthia were re-elected. In the presence of State Governor Dr. Peter Kaiser attended the ordinary general meeting last Wednesday. Kaiser is president of the Austrian Youth Hostel Association at the federal level and delivered greetings to the general assembly.
At the general meeting on July 24, 2024, Michael Raunig was re-elected president. Gerd Riegler, Christoph Appé and Klaus Bayer were re-elected as vice presidents. Michael Raunig is also Executive President of the Austrian Youth Hostel Association alongside Peter Kaiser.
The delegates were particularly proud of the participation of ÖJHV Carinthia honorary member Heli Bauer at the general assembly. Heli Bauer has been actively involved in setting up the Carinthian youth hostel system since 1949 and still actively follows the work of the ÖJHV today.
